Davis Farmland & MEGA MAZE

Farmland is a Mega-Variety Farm: Part Children's Museum, Petting Farm, Play Park, and the Largest Exhibit of Rare Livestock in North America. Davis' MegaMaze is a 3-dimensional challenge that takes the traditional puzzle maze to a whole new realm. The MegaMaze consists of 3 MILES of pathways! The 14 acre attraction includes three footbridges that connect some pathways and pass over others. Informational quiz-boards are hidden in dead-ends and speaking tubes connect those who may need a little help to the maze master's tower. The maze is so large there is even a portable toilet half way through. Spatial awareness and problem solving are tested through dozens of choices and decision points. Atop the footbridges, guests may behold a great bird's eye view of the maze and surrounding farm. The Maze is shaped in the form of Celtic dragons, which the Davis' have named Cedric and Cecelia.

A state-of-the-art Arena & Convention facility located in the "Heart of Massachusetts". All major New England cities are within a one-hour drive. The facility hosts concerts, sporting events, family shows, conventions, trade shows, meetings and banquets. The facility is owned by the City of Worcester, managed by SMG and is the proud home of its brand new professional hockey team, the Worcester Sharks. The Sharks are the American Hockey League affiliated franchise of the San Jose Sharks.

EcoTarium

Set in an urban oasis of woodlands and wetlands, EcoTarium is a unique indoor-outdoor museum that allows adults and children to discover firsthand the wonders of the natural world. Three floors of interactive environmental science exhibits, wildlife habitats, extensive grounds, and planetarium explore the earth, sea and sky. Meet live animals, stroll interpretive trails, ride the train, or walk among the treetops 40 feet above ground. Admission: $10.00 adults, and $8.00 for children ages 3-16, college students with IDs and senior citizens. Children under 3 and EcoTarium members free. Additional charges apply for Tree Canopy Walkway, Explorer Express Train, planetarium programs and other special programs. Seasonal outdoor café and Museum Store located on site. EcoTarium offers a year-round calendar of events and exhibits. Jazz at Sunset summer outdoor concert series, June-July. Parking is free.

Elm Park

The City of Worcester maintains more than 1,215 acres of parkland, encompassing 53 parks and playgrounds, nine City pools, and five City beaches. Among the City's treasured park land is Elm Park, one of the nation's oldest public park. Designed by the Frederick Law Olmsted and on the National Register of Historic Places, Elm Park's scenic Iron Bridge is the most photographed spot in Central Massachusetts.

Foothills Theatre Company

Worcester Foothills Theatre Company is a full-time professional theater that produces eight shows within a season, from September to June. The house seats 349 people and offers musicals, comedies, and drama. Show times and ticket prices vary; call for more information. Kiosk in lobby displays items and merchandise for the current show. Salisbury Mansion

The Salisbury Mansion was built in 1772 by Stephen Salisbury I and is recognized as a major historical resource. It is one of the few remaining 18th century buildings in Worcester and is one of the most documented houses in New England. The home has been restored to re-create the home life of the Salisbury Family in the 1830s.

Tuckerman Hall is a multi-purpose venue for concerts, lectures, social, and civic events. The hall was designed in 1902 by Josephine Wright Chapman. She is known as on of the finest female architects in this country's history and is on the national register.
