About 7,000 students earned degrees (associate’s through doctoral) or complete certificates last year in one of nearly 300 majors and concentrations.
The Consortium used part of a 2007 grant from the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism to produce a Web-based video promoting Worcester and the region as a vibrant college destination. Collectively, the 12 colleges and universities in the Consortium attract more than half a million visitors to the region each year. "Worcester Rocks," was produced to showcase the numerous cultural, educational and entertainment offerings within Worcester and central Massachusetts. The video was updated in 2010 by the video division of Atlas Press.
