In this entry level class you will be introduced to film photography and the wet darkroom. The class will start with an introduction to the film camera stressing an understanding of the controls to allow you to "take it off automatic" and be creative. Film development and a contact sheet of your pictures will stimulate discussion of seeing photographically and help you decide which images to make into prints. The second half of the class will introduce you to the magic of making prints in the darkroom. Upon completion of this class students are eligible to take any of the multi-level photography classes.
*Loans of 35MM Film Cameras are available for students without a camera.
**Students should bring one roll of Kodak Plus-X Film to class the first day.
Cost: Student Fee-$199.00 /Studio Fee-$15.00
