As the world celebrates Charles Dickens’ 200th birthday, Vaillancourt Folk Art—known for Christmas Traditions—is bringing Gerald Charles Dickens to Worcester as he has set off on a world tour that began with the Queen of England at Buckingham Palace! Dickens will be retracing the historic steps that Charles Dickens made during his famous American tours both in 1842 and 1868 that brought the word famous author to Worcester, Massachusetts.
Massachusetts most notable organizations have come together to honor the historical importance of Dickens’ visit. Dickens Returns! is a full weekend celebrating the world’s most important literary figure with performances, lectures, tours, and exhibits! Be part of History.
