Worcester, MA - The Colleges of Worcester Consortium presented its annual Community Engagement Awards as part of a community-based learning workshop held at Clark University.

Community Engagement Awards are presented to students from Consortium member institutions that provided exemplary service to their communities within the last year.

Worcester, MA - The Colleges of Worcester Consortium along with five of its member institutions have adopted six Lincoln Square traffic islands for landscape improvements as part of the city's "Adopt an Island" program.

Worcester, MA - The Consortium Gerontology Studies Program (CGSP) will host its 28th annual graduation ceremony on Thursday May 8 at 7 p.m. in the Blue Lounge of the Student Center at Worcester State College.

The event will feature the presentation of the Sol Boskind Award for community service to elders and the Rosalie Wolf Award for scholarship in gerontology. Student ambassador awards will also be presented. Music for this event will be provided by the Worcester State Chorale.
