Worcester, MA - The Consortium, in conjunction with Becker College, WPI, Worcester State and Sprint, sponsored a concert at the Hanover Theatre on April 14 featuring the band Guster (pictured at right).
More than 1,600 tickets were sold for the show. Tickets were $10 for students at sponsoring campuses (Becker, WPI, Worcester State); $18 for all other Consortium students; and $30 for the general public.
Nichols College senior Mike Buckley shared this comment on the Consortium Facebook page: "Please have more concerts at the Hanover Theatre. It was my first time going and I saw Guster and it was phenomenal. My dad and I had a blast and the tickets were very cheap."
Based on the success of this concert, the Consortium hopes to facilitate similar joint concerts in the future.
