Mass Symphony OrchestraWorcester, MA - The Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra conducted by Myron Romanul will present its 29th annual Holiday Pops Concert at Mechanics Hall on Saturday, December 13 at 8 p.m.

Joining the orchestra this year as soloists will be the combined choruses of Anna Maria College, Assumption College, Clark University, Worcester State College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute (all under the direction of John Delorey), as well as Boston's Ace Entertainment Dancers. Singers Richard Monroe and Monica Hatch will also be featured with the orchestra.

A beloved holiday tradition at this time of the year, the concert is a favorite event in Central Massachusetts. The concert has sold out for the past 28 years. The evening combines the beauty of Mechanics Hall, the excitement of the approaching holiday season, and the presentation of highly experienced orchestral, choral, and dance performers.

The concert will feature classic symphonic music by such well-known composers as Bennett, Chabrier, Handel, Strauss, Tchaikovsky, and Leroy Anderson; selections from Broadway musicals; favorite music of the holiday season; an audience sing-along; and some of Boston's most highly accomplished dancers performing choreographed works together with a full symphony orchestra.
