Worcester, MA - Consortium Chief Executive Officer Mark Bilotta was honored by the YMCA of Central Massachusetts at the annual Oldies But Goodies "Evening of Elegance" fundraiser held at Clark University on November 21.

Bilotta has dedicated his time and effort to the YMCA's Men's Health and Family Services program as a "life coach," encouraging young men and women to pursue some type of postsecondary education.

"I believe education is the greatest anti-poverty tool we have," said Bilotta. "If we can educate a young man or woman, we impact their entire family in a very positive way."

Bilotta is board chair for the United Way of Central Massachusetts and also serves on the boards of the Massachusetts Health and Educational Facilities Authority, Destination Worcester, Spectrum Health Systems and the Worcester Regional Research Bureau.
