Boston - The Board of HEFA, the Massachusetts Health and Educational Facilities Authority, held elections for officers on July 16 and elected Mark P. Bilotta as Vice-Chair. Also elected were Christine C. Schuster as Chairperson and Timothy O'Connor as Secretary.
Worcester, MA - The Colleges of Worcester Consortium, Inc. has released its 2007-2008 Annual Report entitled "Celebrating the Contributions of Higher Education to Worcester County."
The Consortium coordinates the tuition waiver program for Worcester school teachers. In 2009-2010, 45 waivers were approved, which enabled teachers to take courses at Assumption College, Anna Maria College, Clark University, Quinsigamond Community College, WPI, and Worcester State College—an estimated value of $51,000.
