Cross-registration is an arrangement among all Consortium member colleges and universities that allows full-time, undergraduate day students at these institutions to take courses at others.
Generally, courses are open subject to space availability and prerequisites. Cross-registration is a no-charge arrangement. Exceptions to this are additional fees charged for special programs, laboratory materials and supplies, and the determination of a course overload whereby students may be required to pay a course fee to their home institution.

Cross-registration forms, with instructions on registration procedures, are available in the registrar's office of each Consortium institution. After students have completed the registration form and secured the appropriate signatures at the home and host institutions, they will be notified by the host institution if their course registration has been accepted.
Cross-registration is available only during fall and spring semesters. A list of all courses offered each semester is available in the Master Course Database. Check with host institution for the most up-to-date course information.
Grades for cross-registered courses will be compatible with the home institution's grading system. Grades will be sent to the home institution for transcript-processing and student-reporting.
A free Consortium shuttle service is provided Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. The routes connect several member campuses (WPI, Becker, Assumption, Clark, Worcester State, and Holy Cross) with service to Downtown Worcester at the Worcester Public Library and City Hall.
Students who use their personal vehicles are responsible for complying with the parking regulations at the host campus. Campus security offices must be contacted for specific parking instructions. NEW! See Consortium Cross-registration Parking Permit information.
Students are generally limited to cross-registering for one course per semester. Exceptions may be made by written authorization from the chief academic officer at the student's home institution. Students will be registered on a space-available basis.
Audits by full-time faculty and full-time students are allowed subject to the permission of course instructors.
Arrangements for graduate students are made by mutual agreement of the institutions involved.
The right to deny permission to carry a course overload is retained by each institution based on its own requirements. Students are responsible for satisfying course requirements even though calendars and regulations may differ among Consortium institutions.
The deadline for cross-registration is the last day listed in the academic calendar for registration at each institution. Late registrants may be charged a late fee.
