The Consortium Gerontology Studies Program Certificate in Gerontology requires the completion of seven courses
These courses are offered through the Consortium institutions participating in the Gerontology Program and can be taken at the student’s home campus or at any of the other participating campuses - through cross-registration.
Participating colleges include Assumption College (ASC), Clark University (CLU), College of the Holy Cross (CHC), Worcester State College (WSC), and the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS).
The Gerontology Certificate is awarded upon satisfactory completion of all seven course requirements as well as the completion of all requirements for the bachelor’s degree. It is awarded by the Colleges of Worcester Consortium, Inc. in conjunction with the student’s home institution.
Students who have already completed a bachelor’s degree may enroll in the certificate program through several of the participating institutions and will be awarded their certificate upon satisfactory completion of the certificate requirements.
