The primary objective of the Consortium Purchasing Group (Joint Purchasing) is to establish group purchase contracts for the financial benefit of its members. Through cooperative relationships, the group enables members to make greater use of scarce or limited resources. The group also provides purchasing directors an opportunity to share valuable information, as well as to promote the development and implementation of effective purchasing management.

Membership shall be open to public and private nonprofit institutions with an educational mission. Members of the Colleges of Worcester Consortium, Inc. are automatically guaranteed membership in the Colleges of Worcester Consortium Purchasing Group (JPG).
The following conditions for members are stipulated in the current bylaws:
New requests for membership will be considered biannually in June and December. A copy of the organization's bylaws must accompany requests for membership. If your organization is interested in joining please send a letter of interest, bylaws and any material on your organization to:
