With a stake in the economic health of the region, Consortium member institutions seek, whenever possible, to purchase goods and services from Worcester and central Massachusetts businesses.

Area businesses may want to bid on the agreements offered by the Consortium Purchasing Group. The Purchasing Group, which is comprised of public and private nonprofit institutions with an educational mission, identifies goods and services used in quantity by its members (such as bottled water, office supplies, vehicle rentals, etc.) and negotiates joint purchase agreements to benefit its members.
