Central Massachusetts Information Center for Higher Education & Training
The Worcester Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) has established itself in Central Massachusetts as a primary source of information and advising about postsecondary education for students, parents, guidance counselors and other educators.
Worcester EOC (formerly known as EDCENTRAL) provides independent academic, financial aid, early college planning, and career services to individuals who are pursuing postsecondary education. To fulfill its mission, the Center:
- Works in partnership with colleges and school systems throughout central Massachusetts
- Works with current and potential students, parents, teachers and counselors to ensure accurate and appropriate information about the college access process
- Works closely with state, federal and community agencies involved in college access and financial aid counseling
