Tuition Waiver Program
The Colleges of Worcester Consortium facilitates a Tuition Waiver Program at member institutions for teachers* in the following school systems:
- Worcester Public Schools
- Worcester Dioceses Schools
- Worcester Academy
- Bancroft School
- Notre Dame Academy
Each teacher applicant should contact the college directly to determine the course and course number for which he/she would like to register. Each teacher should fill out the online request form and submit it by Monday, August 16, 2010.
All requests will be forwarded to the appropriate colleges for approval on August 17. Teachers will be notified by the Consortium via e-mail as soon as each college determines which vouchers will be awarded. Please add kmanson [at] cowc [dot] org to your email address book so the email is not filtered as SPAM. Vouchers are granted based upon space availability in a course. Preference will be given to teachers who have not participated in the program in the past and are not enrolled in a graduate program at a Consortium institution.
Please note that vouchers waive tuition costs only. Students awarded vouchers will have to pay appropriate fees (parking permit, registration fee, and so forth) which vary by college. For more information about fees, contact the Registrar's Office at the school you are interested in attending.
Fill out and submit the Tuition Waiver Application for Fall 2010. You will need the course number, days, times and instructor name. You will also need a login and password which you can get from your principal or superintendant’s office.
