The 5th Annual Millennium Leadership Conference
Unity - working together, crossing boundaries, creating leaders
The Millennium Leadership Conference is designed to cultivate the inherent leadership qualities of college students who identify as ALANA. Through a series of workshops and presentations, participants are challenged to assess their own experiences on college campuses from a personal and broader perspective. This assessment then leads to an exploration of how each student can play a pivotal role in shaping the culture of his or her campus, and more importantly, how that will translate into a fulfilling college experience. Beyond addressing social aspects of the college experience, the Millennium Leadership Conference also aims to provide attendees with a forum to network with professionals who will provide them with pertinent information regarding career opportunities.
Registration materials may be found online. Registration materials must be post marked on or before October 18, 2008.
ALANA is an acronym at Clark University which stands for African descent, Latino/a, Asian, and Native American.
